A Corporate Chaplain
of America (CCA) chaplain is a highly trained professional who
provides confidential care giving in the workplace
through relationships built with employees during brief care giving
sessions at company sites.
CCA chaplains are also available to
employees in crisis situations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,
by pager. Our chaplains provide support and crisis intervention
to employees with marital and family problems, substance abuse
issues, job stress, financial or legal problems and the general
day to day issues of life. We make hospital visits for employee
and family members as well as officiating at memorials, funerals,
weddings and other formal occasions. Finally we can act as a referral
source to other professionals and agencies when necessary.
Our
chaplains keep a balance between God, their families and their
work and are allowed the freedom to provide care on a one on one
basis without being micro-managed. Our chaplains are employees
of CCA and are paid a good living wage with opportunities for
advancement as well as receiving medical / retirement benefits.
A CCA chaplain is not required to obtain their own companies or
financial support.
Finally, and most importantly, the CCA chaplain’s
mission is to build relationships with employees, with the hope
of gaining permission to share the life-changing Good News of
Jesus Christ, in a non-threatening manner.
